After completing my nursing training at the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane, I gained over 10 years of clinical experience as an RN in Queensland hospitals, as well as in-home nursing while living in the UK.

I have also spent years living in Japan and the United States, gaining both life, and employment experiences in different cultures.

Returning to Australia in 2003 I moved into healthcare administration while raising our two children, working in two private health clinics before joining

Arc Rehabilitation Services in Brisbane as an administrative assistant, supporting the case manager managing complex clients in a community setting.

In March 2023, I completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Case Management through Griffith University and began working as a Case Manager at OccAssess Pty Ltd in Brisbane. I am now working as an independent contractor, based in Brisbane and available to travel to meet with clients in person as necessary to build strong rapport and positive working relationships.

In my case management work, I have supported clients with a broad range of needs, including those with spinal cord injuries and catastrophic injuries under the National Injury Insurance Scheme Queensland (NIISQ) and iCare Lifetime Care.

My responsibilities have included:

• Assisting participants in identifying meaningful goals and the services required to achieve them
• Developing comprehensive care and support plans
• Researching and sourcing appropriate local allied healthand other service providers
• Researching and sourcing essential equipment
• Conducting detailed cost analyses for funding purposes
• Preparing formal funding applications for submission to state bodies
• Coordinating the implementation of approved plans, including managing allied health services, organising equipment trials, and scheduling medical appointments
• Supporting the safe discharge of spinal cord injury patients into community settings
• Acting as a liaison among clients, medical professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure cohesive, person-centred care.

Throughout every stage of the process, I prioritise clear, empathetic communication, ensuring that each client and their family feels heard, respected, and supported.

I take a warm, person-centred, and practical approach to case management. I’m committed to helping people navigate complex life changes with empathy, positivity, and a strong focus on achievable goals. I believe in building trust and connection—not only with clients, but with their families and wider care teams—to ensure consistent, holistic, and effective support.
